Confirming what we already knew, Brammo’s plans to race at Laguna Seca just got outed by a press release issued by their partner ESX Motorsports. Discussing the company’s partnership with Brammo, ESX motorsports let it slip that it will be the promoter behind Brammo’s presence at Laguna Seca…as Brammo races at the e-Power Championship race. As a marketing company, you’d think they’d know better than to pre-empt their client’s own press releases.
Skipping to the good part in the press release, it reads:
“ESX will help promote Brammo at the Red Bull US Grand Prix at the Mazda Raceway in Laguna Seca, CA on July 23 – 25th, where the Brammo race team will compete in the FIM e-power race series. Various Brammo bikes will be on display including numerous Enertias, as well as last years race bike and one Enertia with an epic story – the Shocking Barack Bike.”
Brammo has yet to officially announce their entry into the e-Power race at Laguna Seca, but it is expected that they will enter with their rumored TTR-based sportbike. Yes we are aware of there’s a funny logic to racing a bike based off a production bike that’s based off a race bike.
