Episode 85 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and in it we see David Emmett, Neil Morrison, and Steve English on the mics for this racing double-header.
Covering both the MotoGP round in Thailand, as well as the WorldSBK round in Argentina, the show talks about two inaugural rounds for these racing series.
Of course the talk of Buriram was about the tight battle between Marc Marquez and Andrea Dovizioso, but there were also story lines from the Movistar Yamaha garage, as Maverick Viñales found himself on the podium, with Valentino Rossi not far behind.
At the Villicum circuit in San Juan, it was once again Jonathan Rea who stole the show, helping make the case that he is the Great Superbike Racer of All Time. Though the racing year is nearing its end, the rider market in WorldSBK is just heating up, and there is plenty of rumor and gossip to decipher for next season.
Where will we see Marco Melandri, Tom Sykes, Eugene Laverty, and others next year? And what bikes will the teams be campaigning? Superbike Steve helps us tell fact from fiction.
The final section sees some conversations come from our new segment of quick one-minute monologues about various topics in the paddock. Of course, the show then ends with the ever popular “winners and losers” summation.
With lots of behind-the-scenes information to share, we think you will really enjoy this episode.
