May We Suggest the 600HP KTM X-Bow GTX, For When You Can’t Ride Your Motorcycle?

Your eyes are not seeing double. This is in fact a four-wheeled vehicle on the pages of Asphalt & Rubber. It also a KTM. It is a 600hp, Audi-powered, KTM race car actually.

Officially dubbed the KTM X-Bow GTX, this project has evolved over the last 12 years from a peppy open-roof track car for the rich, to a well-sorted racing machine that is ready for a GT2 class near you.

With that purpose in mind, the KTM X-Bow GTX is powered by an inline-five, 2.5-liter, gas-powered engine, that is lifted from the Audi TT RS and tuned to make a cool 600hp.

For a car with a claimed weight of just 2,200 pounds (1,000 kg), that is a lot of scoot.

The track-only KTM X-Bow GTX model is designed to sit at the top of the KTM X-Bow range, with the GT4, RR, R, and GT car filling in below it.

There is no word on pricing just yet, but considering that the GT4 model goes for $181,200 from the factory, we would expect the GTX to be over the $200,000 mark.

Considering that is a “cheap” price tag in the race car realm, it makes some of the motorcycle industry’s latest offerings look downright affordable.
