Husqvarna continues to tout its electric dream, this time showing concepts for two electric scooters that couldn’t be more different from each other.
The first is a proper riding scooter, named the Husqvarna Vektorr. The other, well that’s most like a push-scooter that you’d see from one of those shared urban mobility companies – it’s called the Husqvarna Bltz.
Fitting alongside what Husqvarna has already shown with the E-Pilen concept, the Swedish brand makes a very poor attempt at hiding that fact that it plans to bring the Vektorr concept to market, and touts figures like a 28 mph (45 km/h) top speed and 60 mile (95 km) range.
Those are not exactly mind blowing numbers from Husqvarna, but adequate for around town duties in most metropolitan areas. Of course, cost will be the biggest factor, and Husqvarna is mum on that end.
Covering all of its bases with electric transport, the Bltz concept is the next piece in the puzzle from Husqvarna, and is a stand-up scooter that fills the needs for shorter trips and recreational avenues. No specs on the Bltz have been released.
Editor’s note: Germanic companies should probably shy away from naming anything “blitz” that they plan on selling to the US and Western Europe. It’s too soon, guys.
