A 6th place start tomorrow for Bradley Smith. He’ll be hoping to capitalize on his best qualifying of the season in tomorrow’s race.
Marc Marquez will start the French Grand Prix from pole position.
Cal Crutchlow was handed the new swingarm he tested at Jerez, and declared himself happy with his 4th place qualifying position.
Maverick Vinales qualified 13th, just missing out on Q2.
Valentino Rossi gambled on a new setup for qualifying. The gamble didn’t pay off but he was happy with his decision, feeling the setup changes will benefit him in tomorrow’s race.

Andrea Dovizioso was a little disappointed not to be closer to Marc Marquez, but feels confident he can challenge at the front for tomorrow’s race.
