Valentino Rossi took victory in a wet race at Silverstone and is now back at the top of the championship standings, 12 points ahead of Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo.
A great day for Danilo Petrucci who finished 2nd and took to the MotoGP podium for the first time.
Andrea Dovizioso claimed the final spot on the podium.
Jorge Lorenzo claimed a fogged up visor cost a possible podium as he had to slow in the closing laps.
Bradley Smith finished one place behind fellow Brit Scott Redding, in 7th place.

It looked like Rossi and Marquez were going to be locked in an epic battle to the chequered flag. Sadly it didn’t happen as Marquez crashed out.
It was confirmed before the race that Scott Redding will move to Pramac Ducati next season. He went on to finish 6th, his best MotoGP finish to date.
Jorge Lorenzo lead earlier on, but dropped back to 4th.
Pretty much sums up the conditions for todays British Grand Prix.
Marc Marquez was pushing hard behind Valentino Rossi but crashed out on the 13th lap.
Cal Crutchlow was looking strong right up until the moment he was taken out be teammate Jack Miller
