We could probably save a lot of pixels, and a lot of headlines, if we just wrote one story saying that updates have come to MV Agusta’s 800cc three-cylinder lineup…but where’s the fun in that?
Continuing the trickle of reveals, we have on the offer today the MV Agusta Brutale line, which includes the base model Brutale Rosso, the up-spec Brutale RR, and the auto-clutched Brutale RR SCS.
The bikes see similar upgrades that we have noticed from the lineup, namely Euro5 homologation with some mechanical and electronic refinements along the way to achieve those regulatory goals, and to refine the riding experience.
Perhaps the biggest upgrade though is the addition of a six-axis IMU, courtesy of e-Novia from Milan, Italy.
One of our favorite bikes on the market, the MV Agusta Brutale 800 doesn’t get its fair due from reviewers and buyers alike (especially the spicy RR version).
Armed now with next-generation electronics, MV Agusta has made a better case for Brutale ownership, now that the space has heated up with offerings from Aprilia, Ducati, and KTM.
We still think that the Brutale is the best looking in the class, and the bike has never disappointed us on the road as well. It’s good to see the machine getting some love from Varese for the 2021 model year.
