How do you make a bike like the Aprilia Tuono 660 better? It seems like a tough task to undertake, considering the potency of this “naked” sport bike.
Well, the folks in Noale found a simple way to do it – they made an Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory.
For its “factory” badge, the 2022 Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory gets fully adjustable suspension (41mm KYB forks, and a Sacha rear shock), a lightweight lithium-ion battery (curb weight is now 399 lbs / 181 kg), and in the European market the bike gets a power boost to 100hp.
Of note, the Aprilia Tuono 660 already makes this power figure in the United States, so there is nothing to get jealous about for our American readers.
To help with acceleration, Aprilia has shortened the final drive on the Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory, with a 16-tooth countershaft sprocket installed.
The Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory also comes fitted with an IMU, like on the Aprilia RS 660, which means lean-sensitive traction control and cornering ABS are standard items. An up/down quickshifter is also part of the package.
The final touch is the single-seat fairing, which uses a seat cowl to increase the bike’s sporty appeal. The cowl can be removed, if you can convince a sane human being to sit on the narrow passenger seat.
We don’t have word on the US pricing or availability yet, but we would expect the 2022 Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory to come in near the Aprilia RS 660’s $11,500 price tag.
