It doesn’t take too much to get excited about an MV Agusta F3 800, as the Italian motorcycle looks as good as it handles.
One of the few sport bikes that doesn’t need a radical livery to look good, the simple and understated F3 800 is often regarded as two-wheeled art…and it’s easy to see why.
Putting those lines to good use, this past weekend at the UNICEF Summer Gala in Sardinia, this particular MV Agusta F3 800 helped raise €100,000 for the children’s fund.
Painted with a special livery, the motorcycle was one of several items auctioned to support UNICEF, with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity and the bike going to a generous MV Agusta collector.
“I am so happy that our special F3 800 for UNICEF Italia found such a generous buyer,” said MV Agusta CEO Timur Sardarov. “All our motorcycles are hand-crafted, and it takes an incredible amount of pride, passion and experience to manufacture one.”
“This special one is unique, and to know it will serve a unique cause makes every woman and man involved in its production even prouder. I wish to thank UNICEF Italia for giving us this opportunity to support them in defending vulnerable children.”
For those that are not familiar with UNICEF, it is an organization that promotes the rights and well-being of children, everywhere.
Established by the United Nations in the aftermath of World War II, the UNICEF mission has expanded globally, with individual country-branches operating to further the UNICEF cause of helping vulnerable and excluded children.
