Jorge Lorenzo dominated FP1 & FP2, and finished over half a second ahead of the rest of the field.
Valentino Rossi was 2nd at the end of the first day at Motorland Aragon.
Bradley Smith finished 3rd to complete a Yamaha clean sweep of the provisional front row.

Maverick Vinales had a tough day. He finished down in 16th place, more than two seconds off the pace.

Cal Crutchlow is struggling again. He finished Day 1 in 13th place, 1.5 seconds off the pace of Jorge Lorenzo.

Toni Elias is back in MotoGP riding for the Forward Racing team for the rest of the season. Before the start of FP2 he wrapped a piece of sand paper around the handle bar of his bike to scrub in the throttle hand of his new Alpinestars gloves.
Aleix Espargaro struggled in FP1, but improved significantly in FP2 to finished in 7th place.
Eugene Laverty had a great FP1 finishing 11th.
Jorge Lorenzo laid down a marker on the opening day at Motorland Aragon. On this form he is going to be tough to beat on Sunday.
