Marc Marquez completed a perfect weekend with a comfortable win, his 6th consecutive victory at the Sachsenring circuit.
The start of the race, and Dani Pedrosa grabbed the advantage going into Turn 1.
Valentino Rossi didn’t win the race, but he did finish ahead of his teammate and championship rival Jorge Lorenzo to extend his lead to 13 points.
Jorge Lorenzo lead early on, but dropped back to a lonely fourth place.
Dani Pedrosa was very happy with his pace at the end of the race, after pulling away from Valentino Rossi.

Marc Marquez said he was having fun again after a dominate performance at Sachsenring.
Jonny Hernandez made the most of his 5th place starting position in the early stages, but eventually finished 12th.

Bradley Smith put in another strong ride to finish 6th and top satellite bike.
Andrea Iannone finished 5th and top Ducati again.

Jorge Lorenzo struggled with rear grip but was happy to only lose three points to championship leader Valentino Rossi.
This was the view Marc Marquez’s rivals had all weekend.
At the tender age of 22, Marc Marquez has already amassed 73 Grand Prix podiums.
