We suspect there’s a Moto Guzzi PR agent homeless in the streets of Milan right now, after not one, but two mix-ups have occurred. First, there was the debacle of press information stating the Moto Guzzi V7 Clubman Racer was a production model. And second, there’s what appears to be a naming mix-up between the Moto Guzzi V12 X concept and Moto Guzzi V12 Strada concept.
Our reporting of the Moto Guzzi V7 Clubman Racer was accurate in its description, since we were actually at EICMA this year, and heard the bike’s announcement, which differed from the written press release. But like everyone else, we got the names of two of the three V12 concepts reversed.
Thankfully, the bikes’ designer, Pierre Terblanche, was kind enough to drop us an email correcting our mistake. As such, those posts have been modified to reflect those changes. Ah, the beauty of internet journalism. You can find the incorrectly named bikes on a newsstand in the coming few weeks.
