If you were in Italy for the EICMA show, then you surely had a conversation with someone about seeing the MV Agusta Rush 1000.
This special version of the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 was polarizing with its radical looks, but we heard enough positive mentions to believe that the Italian brand will have no trouble selling out of this eye-catching streetfighter.
If you are one of the believers though, then you better ready with your wallet, because the MV Agusta Rush 1000 has been priced at €34,000 for the European market.
Pricing in the United States hasn’t been fixed yet, but we would expect something in the $37,000+ price range for the American market, with this European price in mind.
For that coin, you do get some interesting add-ons and modifications to the basic Brutale 1000 RR package. First up, when you add the included exhaust, the MV Agusta Rush 1000 makes a tasty 209hp, while only tipping the scales at 408 lbs (dry).
SC-Project has been tasked with making the one-of-a-kind exhaust, which routes into a dual-tipped end piece. Öhlins electronic suspension is front and aft, with Brembo Stylema calipers doing the clamping duties on the 320mm discs at the front.
Our favorite touch has to be the carbon fiber rear wheel cover though, which hides a forged aluminum wheel that is mounted to the single-sided swingarm.
You can expect to see the MV Agusta Rush 1000 available from dealers starting in May 2020.
