Episode 120 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one is a WorldSBK show, as the production championship comes to us from Argentina.
As such, this means that we see Steve English joined by Gordon Ritchie on the mics, as they are our World Superbike reporting duo for the 2019 season.
Recording straight from trackside at the Argentinean track, the guys give some conversation about the on-track action at San Juan, including the issues with the track surface.
Of course, the start of the show has to contend with the rider’s mutiny that happened on Saturday because of the track conditions.
As such, Steve and Gordo examine what the issues were for the track and the riders; why there was a protest from the riders; and of course why some riders raced and others didn’t.
From there, the guys discuss the current riders market in WorldSBK, as some big pieces for next season are starting to move, including Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, Garrett Gerloff, and Alex Lowes.
The show wraps up with Jonathan Rea spending some time with Steve, talking about the 2019 season and winning the World Superbike Championship.
