Episode 154 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one sees David Emmett, Neil Morrison, and Steve English finally talking about some on-track action, as the first round of the MotoGP Championship has finally taken place.
With an eventful weekend in Jerez, the crew has plenty to discuss from the Spanish GP, the first topic of which is Marc Marquez’s miraculous save, blistering pace through the field, inevitable crash, and the consequences thereof.
Of course, ample time is also given to discussing Fabio Quartararo’s first MotoGP race win, and what the young French rider means for grand prix racing right now.
Some time is spent also on the future of Andrea Dovizioso, who saw one championship rival fall into the shadows, while several others appeared in the light – right when the Italian is negotiating his contract with Ducati Corse.
The show ends with a look at the lower classes, and includes a mini preview of what we can expect this coming weekend in Jerez, as we get ready for the Andalusian GP.
As always, be sure to follow the show every week, as we strive to get you through this difficult time where little to no motorcycle racing is taking place.
