Episode 231 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one is a WorldSBK show, which means that this one sees Steve English and Gordon Ritchie on the mics.
The pair talk about the WorldSBK round at the new Navarra track in Spain, and the superbike racing action that ensued at the this new venue for superbikes.
Before they get to the racing action though, Steve and Gordo discuss the benefit of having new tracks on the calendar, and how that balances the championship for riders and machines.
This leads into the technical challenges facing bikes like the Ducati, with its single-sided swingarm, and how other teams are honing their WorldSBK machines.
From there, the obvious news is the move by Alvaro Bautista from the HRC team to Ducati Corse for the 2022 season, which also means a conversation about Scott Redding as well.
Before getting to the racing action, Steve also covers what has been transpiring in the WorldSSP 300 series and how that class differs from WorldSBK.
Finally, Steve English and David Emmett sit down for a special Renthal Street Sessions interview with WorldSBK rider Alex Lowes.
