Episode 266 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and this one sees us covering the Qatar GP at the Lusail International Circuit outside of Doha.
On the mics to discuss the season-opener, we have the full crew of Steve English, David Emmett, Neil Morrison, and Adam Wheeler, as they look at the first race of the 2022 MotoGP Championship season.
The Qatar round showed plenty of surprises, including a superlative performance by Enea Bastianini. That prompts the guys look at the state of the Ducati situation, which included Pecco Bagnaia struggling to find a setup because of testing duties for Ducati Corse.
KTM also had a breakout result from Brad Binder, as did Aprilia with Aleix Espargaro, while Suzuki failed to impress after such a strong preseason showing.
Meanwhile Honda seems to have a bike that truly can be ridden by people not named Marc Marquez, while the Yamaha is clearly a step behind the competition.
The guy discuss all these topics and more, and then finish the show with their typical rundown of the weekend’s winners and losers.
