Episode 84 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out, and in it we see David Emmett and Neil Morrison on the mics, as they discuss the recent Aragon GP in Spain.
The first section starts with the controversy from Motorland Aragon: the crash of Jorge Lorenzo, which the Ducati rider blames on Marc Marquez. This then pivots to a discussion about the championship rivalry that is brewing between Marquez and Andrea Dovizioso, as the pair once again found themselves trading corners in Spain.
The show then turns to a tale of two factories, the rise of the Suzuki MotoGP effort, and the lack of competitiveness at Yamaha Racing. With Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins showing strong results at Aragon, Suzuki now loses its racing concessions, which is a positive event from the eyes of the Japanese brand.
Meanwhile at Yamaha, the situation grows ever more dire, and the show examines the various factors that go into the current situation at Movistar Yamaha factory team, including the waning career of Valentino Rossi.
The final section sees a quick conversation about Moto3 and Moto2, before we head into our new segment of quick one-minute monologues about various topics in the paddock. The show then ends with the ever popular “winners and losers” summation.
With lots of behind-the-scenes information to share, we think you will really enjoy this episode.
