After injuring his hand earlier this year, Jorge Lorenzo has been sitting out MotoGP’s testing days, trying to recover in time for the upcoming season. Now leaving a post on his Facebook page, Lorenzo confirms that he will be at the Qatar test later next month. Surely with this message, all eyes will be trained on the Middle-Eastern track, looking for the first signs that Lorenzo will be able to dethrone the reigning World Champion Rossi.
The Spanish rider left the following message to his fans and followers on the social media site: “Hola amigos! Yesterday was my last day of the week of recovery and the truth is that I have greatly improved the hand in these last days with my physio. I’m happy and I think I can be in Qatar.”
The second seat Fiat-Yamaha rider has been absent thus far from testing, leaving many to wonder whether or not he will be able to challenge Rossi again for the MotoGP Championship. Will the student become the master? Only time will tell, the first race at Qatar starts.
