It only took a few hours since our last post on the Ducati Superleggera V4 for more photos and a video of the machine to leak online, which is just fine by us since we’re eager to see this incredible machine from Borgo Panigale.
The new photos and video (and the screen grabs from other videos) surely are products of Ducati’s microsite for the “Project 1708” machine, and they give us a larger glimpse on what to expect Thursday morning.
It is also widely expected that Ducati will announce a $100,000 price tag, 500 unit run, carbon fiber chassis, 152kg dry weight, and 234hp peak power figure when the Akrapovic exhaust is installed.
Other than the price tag, if those numbers don’t get you excited…well, you should probably take up the miserable sport of golf for the rest of your soulless existence.
This is going to be a truly remarkable motorcycle – even more so when you realize its a street-legal machine, running on pump gas, and meeting Euro5 regulations…all while pumping out the best power to weight ratio ever from a road-going motorcycle.
