CFMoto is not a brand that we talk much about here on A&R, as the Chinese firm has a minimal presence in our core markets of readership: North America and Europe.

When you do hear about CFMoto, it’s usually in relation to the company’s partnership with KTM, but rarely ever is the news about the company’s own creations.

As such, let us introduce you to CFMoto, as you may have seen their latest concept bike making waves on social media. The name needs some work – SR-C21 doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue, but don’t let that stop you from drooling.

Norton V4SV Relaunches with Updates and Less Power

What is old is new again might as well be the theme for this week, after the Crighton CR700W reemerged and the Husqvarna Norden 901 finally debut, and that theme continues now with the relaunch of the Norton V4 superbike, which has changed names to the Norton V4SV.

With the company now in the hands of India’s TVS Motor Company, the British firm is starting to make good on some of its previous owner’s promises, and one of those is making the Norton V4 work properly and land into the hands of happy customers.

A bike we have suspected from Ducati ever since the Multistrada V4 debuted, the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak continues a long tradition from the Italian brand in making a sportier adventure-tourer.

That ethos gets taken to another level with this incarnation though, thanks primarily to Borgo Panigale positioning the base Multistrada V4 as a more all-round ADV bike, with its 19″ front wheel and double-sided swingarm.

Returning the Multistrada to its 17″ ways, the 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak features not only a smaller front wheel, but also a single-sided swingarm and other sport-focused choices.

Updates Come to the Entire BMW K1600 Lineup for 2022

BMW Motorrad’s venerable K1600 platform is getting an update for the 2022 model year, which means we have new BMW K1600B, BMW K1600 Grand America, BMW K1600GT, and BMW K1600GTL motorcycles to talk about today.

While such news would usually be a lot to process, the Germans have made it easy for us, as  all four of the K1600 models share in their revisions to BMW’s six-cylinder engine, which is now Euro5 compliant.

MV Agusta Superveloce Ago Pays Homage to Two Winning Names

In the ongoing debate about who is the greatest motorcycle racer of all time, the short-list of names always includes Giacomo Agostini – the the winningest grand prix racer of all-time.

And to earn that reputation, Agostini relied on the MV Agusta, the marque that was almost exclusively responsible for hurling the Italian to 15 world championships and 10 Isle of Man TT wins.

This makes the names Giacomo Agostini and MV Agusta almost inseparable from each other, and today’s news furthers that bond as the MV Agusta Superveloce Ago is a limited edition homage to that legacy.

Trackside Tuesday: The Showdown at Brands Hatch

Last weekend I attended my first race meeting since 2019, shooting photography at the final round of the 2021 British Superbike Championship, at the iconic Brands Hatch circuit.

Interestingly enough, British Superbikes at Brands Hatch in 2008 was the first event I attended with a media pass outside of the Isle of Man.

That particularly weekend didn’t go very well after heavy overnight snow on Saturday brought about the cancellation of racing. The organizers did manage to reschedule the race weekend later in the year, which I attended but I haven’t been back to Brands Hatch since.

When the Isle of Man government started to relax the islands COVID border restriction this year, I decided I was going to try and make it to a round of the British Superbike Championship.

Plans to attend a couple of early rounds didn’t come-off for various reason, so I decided to go to Brands Hatch for the culmination of the BSB Showdown.

MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Nürburgring Is Ready for the Green Hell

A collaboration between the Nordschleife and MV Agusta sees us today talking about the aptly named MV Agusta Brutale 1000 Nürburgring – the most extreme Brutale 1000 built to date.

This limited edition machine features carbon fiber BST wheels, for better turning and less unsprung weight.

A single-can full titanium Arrow exhaust is also a highlight, and uses a longer primary manifold for higher torque values. A “race” ECU is also included in the package.
