Episode 166 of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out as our second podcast this week, and this one sees Steve English and Gordon Ritchie on the mics talking about the very wet WorldSBK round at Magny-Cours, France.
With Jonathan Rea unable to seal the deal on Sunday, the guys have plenty to talk about before the season finale at Estoril.
Of course, at the top of the topics is the man himself, as Kawasaki and Rea seem destined for another WorldSBK Championship.
Some discussion is given about Scott Redding too, and the how the Ducati’s have progress against the seemingly unstoppable duo that is Jonathan Rea and KRT.
American Garrett Gerloff is also a topic of discussion, as his performance on the Nevers track impressed in result, but drew some scorn from the paddock’s riders.
Accordingly, the guys talk about Gerloff’s talent and also his acclimatization to the SBK paddock.
Some time is spent on Honda, and in particular Alvaro Bautista, as the bike and rider continue to underwhelm in the 2020 season.
It’s a show stocked full of insights, which we think you will find most interesting to listen to. Enjoy!
